Abstract: At Microsoft, we love open source. In fact, Microsoft is the largest single contributor to the world’s Open Source communities. Our strong commitment to support the open source community also reflects the way Microsoft creates new services in Microsoft’s Public Cloud – Azure. We will take a deep dive on how Microsoft implements Open Source technologies, how Microsoft partners with Open Source vendors/partners to ensure a great open source cloud experience. This session will also touch on the recent GitHub announcements and the .NET Core open-source project which allows .NET Code to run on Linux.
